The 25th International AIDS Conference, under the theme "Put People First, "is set to bring together thousands of delegates to Munich, Germany, including youth, community, civil society, academics, experts and professionals, UN agencies, donors and all key players in the HIV response. Put People First places an emphasis on the crucial role of communities in the response to HIV and developing solutions from the point of view of those most affected. The conference will feature pre-conferences from July 20 to 21, followed by the main event from July 22 to 26.
More than 30 young advocates and activists from the Y+ Global network will attend the conference in person, and 150 young people will attend virtually through our virtual hub. This ensures that young people take up these critical spaces to raise their voices and help shape the future of the youth-centric and meaningful HIV response.
“As one of the hosts of the Munich Youth Force, together with LetsStopAIDS, we are proud to be playing a leading role in shaping this year's youth agenda at the Youth Pavilion. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our space at the conference and experiencing firsthand how we, as young people, are leaders of the HIV response.”Maximina Jokonya
