YouthWise Impact Study Report

YouthWise Impact Study Report (FINAL)

The YouthWise (YW) project, running from 2021 to 2024 and supported by Aidsfonds, is a youth—and women-led initiative implemented in Kenya and Malawi by Y+ Global, Y+ Kenya, Y+ Malawi, the Ambassador for Youth and Adolescent Reproductive Health Programmes (AYARHEP), and the Coalition of Women Living with HIV and AIDS (COWLHA).

YouthWise takes a holistic approach to HIV prevention, treatment, and care, aiming to empower adolescents and young people living with HIV to take control of their health and well-being. To evaluate the project’s effectiveness, an impact study was commissioned to determine whether the strategies used within YouthWise achieved their objectives and to identify the project's strengths and weaknesses. This assessment will inform stakeholders about the project's success in meeting its goals and provide insights on refining self-care interventions for potential scaling.
