Selma Ndasilohenda Iyambo

Namibia

Selma Ndasilohenda Iyambo is a 20-year-old Activist for Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights that is passionate about community work, empowering and representing Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYWs) in all their diversity. Born in the small village of Uukwalumbe and raised in Windhoek. She volunteered at the Namibia Planned Parenthood Association (NAPPA) for the past six years and served as the National Chairperson for the Youth Action Movement and Youth Representative to the NAPPA board. Currently, she is the Ambassador of Her Voice Fund Namibia, a contributor to Afterbreak Magazine, and a Programs Director at Social Enabled Education Namibia (SEE Namibia). On the other hand, she is also a third-year journalism student at the University of Namibia.

Millicent Sethaile is a community developer and youth activist. She currently works as Youth SRHR officer at SRHR Africa Trust and also serves on a number of executive boards both nationally and internationally. She holds a degree in Finance and Accounting. Her passion is to merge the financing and development industries to serve communities by investing in programs that positively impact the lives of people. Her aspirations are to see all AGYW accessing safe and quality health care and keeping girls in schools. Her interest in policy development is rooted from the desire to support community initiatives that need policy enforcement in order to work effectively in communities.

Bester Mulenje

Bester Mulenje Is a passionate young lady whose heart is open for young women around her,she hold two awards from ITPC MERA and SAT Africa both recognising her work in the health sector namely SRHR.

Bester's passion started after she lost a close relative and it was from there that she joined an organization called treatment Advocacy and literacy campaign that helped her learn to advocate and opened doors for her ,she later volunteered with SAT Africa under Youthhub and many more organisations.She is currently involved with her organisation called Foundation for Adolescent girls and young women in Zambia and volunteering with HERVOICE FUND project where she has learned so much and is teaching others too.

Hortencia Nuhu

Tanzania

Hortencia Nuhu a Tanzanian female pursuing bachelor degree in Medicine. An activist who passionately believes in giving vulnerable adolescent girls and young women a chance to prosper in their lives. I believe in changes. Currently, I serve as the Her Voice Fund Ambassador, a program which is coordinated by Y-plus Network to support adolescent girls and young women in SRHR and HIV/AIDS prevention. I am working in HER MOVEMENT PROJECT, the platform which provides awareness, capacity building on sexual and reproductive health and gender based violence. I have been attending different workshops and volunteering in different activities in reaching the ones who are in need in terms of health, education and other social activities which are for the purpose of sustainable development. I believe in changes and always ready to put those changes into action.

Márcia-Lucrécia-Jeiambe

Márcia Jeiambe

Mozambique

Márcia Jeiambe is a sexual and reproductive health and rights social activist for 10 years. She holds a degree in Maths and is a master degree student in Population and Development at the Universidade Eduardo Mondlane.

Márcia is keen on fighting for the rights of adolescents and young people, and during her career has already worked as a counselor, trainer, program coordinator, AFRIYAN secretariat member, and, nowadays, she is serving as Global Fund HER Voice Fund Ambassador for Mozambique and working at a youth organization called Associação Coalizão da Juventude Moçambicana, as PITCH and M&E Specialist, and is a part time High school Math’s teacher.
