The “Grant Cycle 8 Youth Engagement Guideline for Youth-Led Organizations in Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Eastern Europe” is a practical resource developed by the Y2Y Consortium to support meaningful youth participation throughout the Global Fund Grant Cycle 8 (GC8) process. The guideline provides youth-led organizations with step-by-step strategies for engaging in country dialogues, funding request development, implementation, monitoring, advocacy, and sustainability planning related to HIV, tuberculosis (TB), and malaria responses. It highlights key entry points for youth engagement within Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCMs), promotes community-led monitoring and digital advocacy, and emphasizes the importance of inclusive, rights-based, and youth-centered health programming. Designed for young advocates, networks, and community organizations, the publication aims to strengthen youth leadership and ensure that young people are actively involved in shaping equitable and sustainable health responses across Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
