This report captures the impactful journey of the UNITED! Movement across 14 countries in Eastern and Southern Africa. In 2024, over 300 youth advocates were equipped with skills and tools to lead bold advocacy efforts for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and HIV. Through targeted trainings, mentorship, and high-level dialogues, the movement fostered stronger youth-led networks, increased leadership confidence, and sparked meaningful change.
Highlights include dynamic peer-learning webinars connecting SRHR with mental health, climate justice, and psychosocial support, as well as a landmark skills-building session at the International Workshop on Adolescence, SRHR & HIV in Nairobi. With over 9,000 reached via digital media, this report showcases the power of youth-led action and collaboration, supported by Y+ Global and partners under the UNITED! banner.
