In response to funding cuts and the need for increased domestic resources, Y+ Global, through the You(th) Care project—alongside NAYA, AYARHEP, and Copper Rose Zambia- developed advocacy and position papers that amplify youth voices through storytelling, focus group discussions, interviews, and policy analysis. These resources highlight the systemic, legal, and funding barriers that undermine adolescents' access to SRHR and HIV services in Kenya and Zambia. Each paper employs participatory, youth-centred methodologies, ensuring that young people, health workers, policymakers, and civil society help shape the evidence base and proposed solutions. Collectively, the reports call for urgent and bold reforms, including lowering age-related access barriers, restoring youth-friendly, trauma-informed services, and ensuring meaningful youth participation in decision-making spaces.
